On World Environment Day, Corby Borough Council has every reason to celebrate as they continue to tackle Climate Change with new targets agreed by members.

As part of the continued fight against Climate Change, in August 2019, the Council declared a climate emergency and as a result has made a commitment to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2030. Most recently, the council used its emergency powers to adopt the refreshed action on climate change document which is a roadmap towards zero emissions and a low carbon economy.
